Unser nächstes großes Ziel ist Yellowstone, und das erfordert eine längere Autofahrt. Heute sind wir durch das östliche Oregon bis nach Boise in Idaho gefahren. Am Weg lagen leider kaum interessante Sachen, nur das Oregon Trail Interpretive Center in der Nähe von Baker City, Oregon war einen Besuch wert. Und der erste Quilt des Tages hing schon zum Frühstück in "Momma Jane's Pancake House" in The Dalles, OR.
Our next big stop will be Yellowstone, and that involves a lot of driving. Today we drove through Eastern Oregon to Boise, Idaho. Unfortunately there were not many interesting things along the way, we just stopped at the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center near Baker City, OR. And I found the first quilt of the day at the restaurant where we had breakfast, that was at "Momma Jane's Pancake House" at the Dalles, OR.
We got lucky, just as we got there Hank Cramer started his performance. He is a folksinger from the American West and entertained us with cowboy songs and stories - great guy, great singer, great stories!
Wir hatten Glück und kamen gerade dort an, als eine Vorstellung von Hank Cramer begann, einem Folksänger aus dem amerikanischen Westen, der Cowboylieder und dazu passende Geschichten zum Besten gab - herrlich!
