Alle Rekorde gebrochen

... hat die Post dieses Mal bei der Zustellung meiner Stoffbestellung. Am letzten Montag wurde sie in den USA abgeschickt, heute war sie schon bei mir. Geht doch, wenn der Zoll sich nicht einmischt :)

Wow, the postal service set a new speed record with my latest fabric order. They shipped it in the US last Monday, and it arrived today! That was only possible because the customs office didn't care about my order this time :)

The green fabric is the one I needed for the Sentimental Journey Sampler. The others are from the sale section to fill the envelope.

Der grüne Stoff ist die Nachbestellung für den Sentimental Journey Sampler, die anderen Stoffe habe ich bei den Sonderangeboten ausgegraben, um den Umschlag zu füllen.

Und für die Rückseite habe ich diesen Stoff bestellt, der sich leider nicht gut fotografieren ließ. In Wirklichkeit ist er noch viel schöner, sieht sehr edel aus und passt farblich gut zur Vorderseite.

And this is the fabric I chose for the backing. It didn't photograph well, looks much prettier in reality. Calm, serene colors that go well with the top.

Now I don't know if I will finish the quilt blocks first or continue making clothes. The blouse is almost done, just need to set in the sleeves, and I have several more apparel projects planned, but I need only one and a half blocks, so maybe I will squeeze that in.

Jetzt bin ich natürlich in einer Zwickmühle, nähe ich nun doch erst die Blöcke fertig oder mache ich mit der Kleidung weiter? Die Bluse ist schon fast fertig, fehlen nur noch die Ärmel. Danach hatte ich schon weitere Projekte in der Planung, aber es fehlen ja nur noch eineinhalb Blöcke, vielleicht schiebe ich die doch besser noch dazwischen ein.
