Das Hope Chest Top liegt ordentlich gefaltet in einer Schublade, ich muss erst Stoff für den Rand und die Rückseite kaufen, bevor es damit weiter geht. Aber schon habe ich das nächste Resteprojekt in Angriff genommen, und dieses gefällt mir richtig gut. Es heißt "Film at Five" und verwendet im Original 2 1/2" Quadrate. Ich habe zu meiner Kiste mit 1 1/2" Scraps gegriffen, da ich von dieser Größe im letzten Jahr schon so viele geschnitten hatte. Ich hatte irgendwo einen Restequilt gesehen, der diese Größe verwendete, und nachdem ich geschnitten hatte, konnte ich ihn nicht mehr finden. Ich war mir ganz sicher, ihn gespeichert zu haben, aber er ist und bleibt unauffindbar. Daher gibt es jetzt also dieses Resteprojekt, und die erste Reihe mit Sashing drumherum ist auch schon fertig.
The Hope Chest quilt is currently on hold since I needed to buy fabric for the border and backing first. But I have started another scrap project right away, and this one I like very much. It is called "Film at Five", and I adjusted the size a little to use up my 1 1/2" squares. The original uses 2 1/2" squares but I have so many in 1 1/2" already cut. I came across a great scrap project for that size last year and started cutting... and now I can't find it anymore. So I started this one instead, and I have already finished the first row with sashing all around.
