It took almost three months for the black fabrics to get here. I think this is a new (negative) record time. German customs and DHL, the German parcel service, are mainly responsible for that. Especially DHL was a nuisance to deal with. I received a letter from customs, saying that the package had been given to DHL. A month later, after I still hadn't received my fabrics, I dared to call the DHL customer hotline, trying to find out where my fabrics had ended up. They told me in a very rude way that an American Global Priority Envelope is a letter, not a parcel, so my fabrics were none of their business, I should go and bother the German postal service.
While I was still fuming, trying to figure out where to complain, my fabrics finally arrived. Who delivered them? DHL, of course... words still fail me. But anyway, they are here and not lost somewhere in space. I already cut the squares I needed and sewed the last rows. Now I only need to make the border.

Youch. Glad you finally got the fabric, can't wait to see how it all turns out.
